Stacey and I ended up switching weeks for preschool, so I had this week. I wasn't exactly prepared for Tuesday so we had a fun play day. They had fun jumping on the ever so popular trampoline, coloring outside with chalk and reviewing all the letters with some handy dandy flash cards. They all really wanted to go to the park, but I wasn't exactly feeling 100% and our fire alarms kept going off...again. I promised then we would go to the park on Thursday.
Thursday: The kids were so excited to make an art project out of our snack. I drew the letter "V" on their paper with glitter glue (yes, glitter glue makes everything prettier:) and then they added their Trix cereal to trace the letter. It was just long enough to keep their attention, and I think the food helped too. After a little bit of play time, it was time for the park. We walked over to the little park which is about a block away. I was surprised they all remembered how to get there from last time! Plus, walking there and back is great exercise for them...and me! :) I can't believe I only have one more day of preschool before summer! Time sure does fly!

Babies Everywhere!
Last Sunday was one of my best friends LeAnne's baby shower. (I know, I'm a little late) Cody stayed the night at Mimi and Papa's, so I took Trevor to the shower with me. He was so good even with no nap. The shower had yummy food and LeAnne got a ton of great, useful gifts. And I say useful because you know when you go to a shower and you think, 'oh she'll never use that'? Well I think almost everyone at the shower was already a mom and knew exactly what she needed. And by the end of the day, Trevor decided he needed cupcakes :)
LeAnnes due date is May 9th and it's sneaking right up!
LeAnne is the one in white, and you cant even tell she's pregnant! As apposed to me, whom you can see a mile away and I'm only 13 weeks!. Oh, and we played this game where you have to guess which celebrity mom you are...That's why I have that paper stuck to me, I guessed who I was and forgot to remove it.

Congrats Laura and Joe!
My best friend Laura and her husband welcomed their first son into the world today! Hudson Kobes was born at 4:04 this morning and weighed in at 8lbs 2oz and was 21 inches long. I just got back from seeing them and Laura is doing great besides being exhausted. Hudson is such a good baby. The only time he cried was when the nurse took his temp. I was even able to put him to sleep...It's nice to know I still have that motherly touch, LOL. And of coarse Joe couldn't be a prouder Daddy. Congrats you guys! Love you tons!

On To Round 3
Poor Gregory...It's his turn to be sick, and he always gets things 10x as bad as everyone else. This bug is claiming the whole family! I'd like to say I haven't caught it yet, but as soon as I do, I will be sick...knock on wood

Round 2: Sickness vs Cody
Cody came and got in bed with us around 4 this morning. He was very wiggly and sure enough around 4:30 he started throwing up. Luckily, I had my puke bucket next to the bed with me so I was able to catch it in time. Few! Trevor is already feeling better, so I'm hoping it's just a 24 hour thing. Cody doesn't act sick either, he just happens to throw up every hour...that's all.

It's Going Around
My poor sweet Trevor baby ended up catching that yucky bug that's been going around and has been throwing up all day! He's even having a hard time keeping 7Up down. It started around lunch and he had been eating some of Cody's licorice. I went to get him out of his crib from his nap (he was crying which is really weird for him) and his crib was covered in red throw up. It scared me to death seeing red everywhere (first thought was that it was blood). Thankfully it was just the licorice... and oranges... and milk. Its been about 8 hours now. I'm hoping it will be a 24 hour thing and he will be feeling better tomorrow when he wakes up. Now we just have to wait and see if the rest of us get it...I'm sure Greg will, he could get sick from something that was in another state. I'm lucky enough to have a really good immune system (thank you day care), but I suppose only time will tell. Wish us luck!

Is That Possible?
Isn't this a cool looking picture?...
Well not if it's your patio door!!!!!!
I was playing out in the backyard this morning with the boys, spraying them with the hose, spraying the dogs, and all of a sudden I hear this huge CRACK! I turn around to see my patio door in a million little pieces. Thankfully, it's still standing, and is a double pane window. I guess the heat and the cold water mixed together cracked our glass door. Who knew?

Parada Del Sol Rodeo
Last night Greg and I were so excited to take Cody to his very first rodeo. I had bought tickets to the Parada Del Sol Rodeo that's out in Scottsdale a couple of days before and told Cody. He's been watching cowboy movies ever since and we had to get him his own cowboy boots and wranglers. Cody was positive that he wanted to ride a bull. Thankfully, he changed his mind once he saw how big they really were. But he did get to go on a pony ride and a mechanical bull.
We were lucky enough to get our tickets in the very front row, and had a great night!
Of coarse every Cowboy has to get ready before they can go to the Rodeo...
Cody's best Cowboy face!
Wrangler butts drive me nuts! Possibly the 2 cutest cowboys ever!
Cody's ready for the rodeo to begin...
These girls were riding to Toby Keiths song 'For The Red, White, and Blue' and I don't know what came over me, but I just started crying. I always get so emotional and thankful when people acknowledge the troops. 8 seconds Cody!
Barrel racing...
Bull riding...
We saw a lot of events! Bronco riding, saddle bronc riding, team roping, single roping, barrel riding, and of coarse bull riding. We love rodeos and cant wait to go to the famous Prescott rodeo in July!

All About The Kiddos
Just a quick tid bit...My best friend Kate and I found out were due a day apart last March. Her due date was November 19th and mine was the 20th. Well, Kate had baby girl Riley the same day I had Trevor! What are the odds right?
Trevor was born on Wednesday November 21, 2007 at 10:19 in the morning. He was a big boy at 8lbs 12oz and 21 inches long. I was induced with Trevor because there was no luck with stripping the membranes (twice) and I never had any contractions. I was supposed to go in early morning on the 19th, but the hospital was too full. So, I was put on a waiting list. Finally, around 11 at night on the 20th, I was called in. I had sent a text to Kate to let her know I was on my way to the hospital and her husband Cody text me back to let me know she was already there (we delivered at different hospitals). Once I got there, they gave me patocin to induce me and an epidural a little while later. It was great! The delivery part of it was nothing. I had to push maybe 3 times and he was born within minutes, healthy as could be. However, a little after he was born I started to feel nauseous. I ate some yogurt and sure enough it came right back up. I sat up in bed and saw white spots everywhere and heard ringing in my ears then blacked out. They took some blood work and it said I was anemic. I was having lots of blood clots coming out. The Dr ran in and started cleaning me out and pushing on my stomach and let me tell you it hurt like heck. I like to think I have a pretty high pain tolerance too (2 kids before this, 2 tattoos, and a couple of piercings with no complaints) but this sucked!!! I was shaking uncontrollably; I thought I was having a seizer. I guess I was going in and out of it, b/c I woke up later and Greg had put a rose on my chest. I remember waking up and asking him if he thought I died. It was probably one of the scariest times of my life (besides Greg leaving for Iraq). Im so glad my mom was there to explain to me in English all the Doctor lingo. I did get to go home for Thanksgiving with a beautiful, healthy baby boy. This was a big deal because I had some scares early on in my pregnancy. On the first ultrasound, we found out that my placenta was sitting way too low so it was squishing Trevor’s kidneys. They were way too small. That was terrifying for both Greg and me. After a couple more ultrasounds and a visit to a perinatologist (sounds serious right) we found out everything was fine. I couldn’t figure out what the big deal was for having small kidneys. I mean, there are two of them. Turns out after some research, it can be a sign of Down Syndrome. It was very scary!!!! We are so blessed that Trevor is healthy! Trevor is turning out to be an angel baby. He rarely cries and sleeps all through the night. He smiles all the time and loves to look at the color blue. He loves to watch Cody and always smiles when he gets to take a bath. Trevor just seems to love life. It is so much fun just to sit and cuddle him. He makes the cutest cooing sounds. I can’t wait to see more of his personality. It just goes by too fast. Greg and I are so blessed and we are reminded of that every time we see our beautiful boys.
Justin Gregory Tieman was born Friday September 18, 2009 at 9:11 in the morning. He weighed in at exactly 7 lbs and was 19.5 inches long. Everything in a time period of about 36 hours happened so quickly. I had my Dr’s appointment at 2 on Thursday and when I was there, he asked if I wanted the 12 am or 4 am spot to be induced. I took the 12 am spot. Gregory and I made it to the hospital around 12:30, checked in, and then went up to Labor and Delivery. I was given “the gel” around 2:15 am and by 2:20 I was already having small contractions. My nurse had me get up and walk the halls for about 40 minutes. I’m not sure what time I had my epidural? It was with the first nurse I had, so sometime between 3 and 6 am. I got a new nurse around 6:15 and she let me sleep for about 3 hours to get some rest. She came in 8:45-9:00 to check on me and see if I had dilated at all. To my surprise (and hers), I was fully dilated!!! I had slept through all of my contractions! It’s a good thing my Dr was just down stairs getting ready to come up and break my water. I felt so bad for him. I pretty much shot my baby out at him. I pushed 3 times (for about a minute) and he was out. They did have to use to vacuum on him because I already had some abrasions and was starting to bleed. Luckily I got all the medicine I needed and then some to help with the bleeding and everything went really well. I was able to leave the hospital the next day, feeling pretty good. Justin is only a couple of days old, but he is already such a blessing for our family. He is a wonderful baby and absolutely beautiful. Cody and Trevor can’t seem to get enough of him. They love getting to help feed Justin. They are such good big brothers! With Justin now here, I feel our family is complete. Gregory and I couldn’t be happier to have 3 wonderful boys in our lives!
